Independence Day Celebrations
St. Ann’s Convent School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day. The students and staff members paid tribute to the nation, the tricolour and the freedom fighters of India.
The celebrations began with the flag hoisting by the chief guest, Dr. P. Anil, assistant surgeon and President of the Alumni Association of St. Ann’s Convent School.
This was followed by the national anthem and a march-past by the students of the four houses.
The chief guest delivered an inspiring speech. The cultural programs concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets to the students, staff members, parents and visitors.
