Dates back to 1974, when three sisters of St. Ann’s congregation initiated an informal education, no one had ever imagined that an educational transformation was on the threshold of Pathapatnam. Things got better in the course of time not without adversities challenging its very survival. Sisters withstood testing times with unflinching commitment and dedication. Over the years, it has borne fruits to prove that education gives wings to freedom and equality and it ever remains an unequivocal equalizer. Today it has its young luminaries in and around and in far-flung corners of the world bearing witness to this seat of wisdom.
Knowing well that heaven on earth is brought about only through holistic education that never expels God-consciousness from classrooms and taking into heart “the need of the hour is the will of God”, the sisters who came to this awesome institution in succession groomed a set of teachers to be competent enough to disseminate quality education to the youngsters of the locality and around with humanity in full flow. As classrooms gone digitalised and AI prompted, teaching faculty is given technical training and orientation courses to keep abreast of the times.
Students are often told that consistency, discipline and hard work are the cornerstones that underpin success and they are the keys to unlock their potentialities. These virtues are inextricably linked with desirable results and they keep open the golden doors of opportunity. In pursuance of a holistic education, their physical, intellectual, psychological, social, and spiritual needs are taken care of. Laced with cultural animation, St. Ann’s has always been a place of incentivizing infrastructure platform with well furnished classrooms, library, laboratories and playground.
